Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto 4 will be released October 16, 2007. It looks to be available initially on PS3 and XBOX 360. It’s nice to see Rockstar buck their usual trend of PS exclusive release and then year+ later release the XBOX.
With this genre becoming incredibly saturated they’re going to need some impressive game enhancements to really standout. Just 7+ months until we find out.

What the hell is wrong with you, quite possibly the biggest PS3 news to date (besides it being s–t) was the simultaneous release with 360, yet you seemed shocked?

Not as of now. Currently they’re only releasing GTA IV to XBOX 360 and PS3.
