I’d like to start a weekly post that pulls interesting and entertaining posts I’ve read over the past week from the commentators and visitors we get here at Wild Bluff Media. I’ve enjoyed following up on the people that leave a comment behind or appear in our MBL “Recently Enlightened” list. Hopefully this will be a way that you can continue to find new and fun sites, just don’t forget to come back here!
- 501st Legion Inducts Kevin Smith as “friend” - HMTK: One of the writers over at HMTK got to meet both Kevin Smith and Stan Lee in one day at the same event. It just doesn’t seem fair!
- American Idol - Who’s going home tonight? - TheMedianSib: Carol and I had some very similar predictions earlier this week for American Idol. Her prediction skills were better than mine though.
- Two Books Every Blogger Should Read - The Real Ryan J. Parker: Ryan has offered up a couple of books on writing well he’s found useful in his blogging adventures. I should probably be first in line to get these.
- Firefox Crop Circles - My Retirement Project: Corey has posted a pretty cool video showing a group creating some crop circles to promote Firefox, of course. He’s got GoogleMaps linked in as well so you can find where this was done.
Alright, that’s it for this week. Don’t forget to post some comments this week and keep visiting to see if you get included in next week’s Sunday Brunch.

It was not me, it was Force Drainer who was there! He’s one of the writers on HMTK.com.

Hey, Thanks for the pingback. Just one question: how do you have 734 readers already?!

It’s all about giving your readers high quality, entertaining content!
Just kidding. It’s really all about Matt Coddington and his Feedburner tip: http://www.netbusinessblog.com/2007/02/22/how-i-got-283k-subscribers/
It was a temp switch to see if it influenced reader signup. It’s back to our real number, which is much, much less impressive.
