Lost: Biggest Event of the Season… Ping Pong??
Wild Bluff Media » TV » Lost: Biggest Event of the Season… Ping Pong??

Apparently I’m a glutton for punishment because I’m sitting here watching Lost. Earlier I posted about how Lost needs to cut the fluff and return to its focus. This idea is reinforced by flashing, neon lights when the activity on the beach centers around Sawyer challenges the rest of the survivors to a death defying game of ping pong. There’s simply no need for the inclusion of this entire side story for the episode, none at all. It’s like ABC fired half of the writing staff and is pulling random ideas out of a hat to fill the remainder of the 40 some minutes.

Well it’s a real knuckle biter. Sawyer has made the challenge and now everyone has to pick someone to stand up to him. I just don’t know what’s going to happen. Could there be a ringer on the beach that will overcome Sawyer and return safety and peace to its more humble residents??

This is disappointingly low quality scripting. But why would I have expected it to happen any other way tonight?
