The secondary judge from Anna Nicole Smith’s trial, Lawrence Korda (not the crybaby Larry Seidlin), was charged with smoking marijuana in a Florida city park. Korda was the judge for the follow-on arguments over who was Danielynn’s biological father. That’s not the important part here though.

What I’d like to focus on is the “charged for smoking pot in the park” part of it. I can just imagine the cops walking by and yelling, “Hey! You can’t smoke pot here! This is a park!” Well, however it happened the three officers “field-tested” the “marijuana cigarette”. That means they picked it up and smoked it! So now officers can smoke pot in a park, but not a judge?! What kind of upside down world are we living in?

Either way Judge Korda got off easy as he was not even arrested. Captain Tony Rode, a police spokesman, explained:

“Judge Korda was not given special treatment because of his status as a circuit court judge,” Rode said. “He was provided with a notice to appear. That’s exactly what 99 percent of other offenders would have been given for this type of offense.”

99% of other offenders? So you mean that if he was Puerto Rican you would have thrown him in the slammer? That’s messed up man. That’s just not right.
