Tonight on American Idol #11 will go home and we will have our American Idol 2007 Season 6 Top Ten! A quick rehash of how each contestant performed last night reminded us all of who is going to stay and who should have vanished weeks ago. Peter Noone came out and performed one of his old hits back from his days as “Herman” from Herman’s Hermits. Huh, I just noticed that Peter’s last name is “No one”. Just a coincidence, I’m sure.

Time for another overly incorporated Ford commercial. This time the gang is performing “Another Saturday Night”. Do they really think that’s selling Fords? And since we’re on unnecessary marketing overlaps, there’s Brad Garrett sitting with the top 11 to try and get another plug for his show that comes on after this. You shouldn’t bother watching it, so I won’t even name it. “Everybody Loves Raymond” is over Brad, stop trying to keep that persona going.

Okay, so Ryan just announced that Phil “Nosferatu” Stacey is not in the bottom 3. What?! I could have possibly believed that he didn’t go home, but to say he wasn’t in the bottom 3? I’m not going to believe that. What?! Now Sanjaya isn’t even in the bottom 3! What?! But our bottom two is: Chris Richardson and Stephanie Edwards. They’re holding back on who is #3 from the the bottom.

But before we get the results, we get Lulu performing. I think Lulu is trying to take a Kellie Pickler approach to her attire tonight.

Wow, the commercial in between here was advertising for American Idol Edy’s Ice Cream flavors. American Idol flavors? You mean like “Yo yo yo!”, “That was dreadful”, or maybe you want a scoop of “I think you’re wonderful”. Too much American Idol marketing!!

Okay, back to the show, finally we get the results and the 2nd person to go home from the Top 12 is… Stephanie Edwards.

So here is your Top Ten for American Idol 2007 Season 6:

  • Gina Glocksen
  • Haley Scarnato
  • Jordin Sparks
  • Lakisha Jones
  • Melinda Doolittle
  • Blake Lewis
  • Chris Richardson
  • Chris Sligh
  • Phil Stacey
  • Sanjaya Malakar

Damn you Sanjaya! I guess we’ll have to put up with you another week. If you need some help getting through the pain, check out our special on American Idol Separated At Birth.

Thats a crime. Not that Stephanie was the best, but Sanjaya couldn’t sing to save his life. I’ve seen people Karaoke better than him. We all need to be voting as much as we can for the other contestants to ensure that even Howard Stern and VotefortheWorst can’t keep Sanjaya on.
