Last weekend 300 earned over $30 million in its second weekend. That’s a little over a 50% drop from the previous weekend, but still strong numbers for even a new release’s earnings.
It is time to restart the weekly contest where the winner gets a linkback in our blogroll for the following week.
So what’s the contest? Simple. Just comment below what you think the top grossing movie will earn (just guess the dollar amount) at the box office this weekend. You don’t have to pick the movie, just guess the amount which ever one it is will earn. The person who gets closest to the $$ will earn a link back for the rest of the week until the next winner is determined.
The contest is open from right now until Saturday at midnight since I’ve seen some early Sunday morning estimates come out. The winner will then be selected Sunday and you’ll be up on the site for the rest of the week.
