Wow. March was a great month for Wild Bluff Media. We are overly grateful to our readers, both the new and the returners. Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts through comments and sent us new ideas and topics to share. Our monthly numbers really amazed me and blew past our expectations. I had set a goal of 3,000 visitors and we nearly tripled that number.

March Unique Visitors: 8,478
March Page Views: 16,244

Most of our traffic really came in the last 2 weeks of the month. Our top day was Wednesday, March 28th when we got 1023 visitors and 1680 page views. Google really showed us the love as well with 30% of our traffic coming from there. Our next source was StumbleUpon.com, a great site, with 16% and a big thanks to Mark (this week’s contest winner) for stumbling some of our material there. Third place was Digg.com at 12%, though that has really trailed off as the month went along.

Also, thanks to our sponsors and especially those readers who took a peek at what they were offering. We’ve decided not to discuss those numbers though. Neither of us will be retiring anytime soon, but it looks like it should be enough to cover our hosting costs, which is great.

We’re still learning and evolving here, so if you see something that you think could be improved please let us know. Our ears are open to both positive and negative criticism. Thanks again to everyone. We’re excited to see what we can do in April.
