It’s another week of shows coming at you and we’re here to help. Here’s a break down by night of what you need to be sure to catch and what’s going on this week, April 9 - April 13:
Monday:
24: 9-10pm on Fox; It’s now to 10pm in “24″ land. President Palmer makes a bold gambit, and Jack changes his strategy about Fayed.
Dancing with the Stars: 8-9:30pm on ABC; This will be the fourth round and the dances will include the Paso Doble and the Waltz.
Tuesday:
American Idol: 8-9pm on Fox; Gina Glocksen went home last week and so we are left with our American Idol 2007 Season 6 Top 8. This week’s musical coach is Jennifer Lopez. Maybe she’ll teach the contestants how to be ‘From the Block’, ruin Ben Affleck’s career, and marry someone who appears to be already dead. Awesome!
House: 9-10pm on Fox; House and Cuddy have an airborne medical crisis while returning from a symposium in Singapore. It begins when a first-class passenger becomes violently ill. House suspects meningitis, and soon others become sick, Cuddy among them. Back at the hospital, Chase, Cameron, Foreman, and Wilson struggle to determine what’s killing a 58-year-old woman who collapsed just before ‘engaging’ with a high-end prostitute.
Dancing with the Stars: 9-10pm on ABC; The fourth round results are in!
Wednesday:
American Idol: 9-10pm on Fox; We’ll find out who will become this season’s #8 place and go home. [Sanjaya already!] Also, Jennifer Lopez will be performing live.
Lost: 10-11pm on ABC; Jack’s happy reunion with his fellow castaways is cut short when they realize he’s accompanied by Juliet; and Claire is stricken by a mysterious life-threatening illness. Then more flashbacks for the unnecessary character, Juliet.
Thursday:
CSI: 9-10pm on CBS; Hodges convinces fellow lab rats Archie, Henry, Mandy and Wendy that Grissom wants them to secretly investigate the so-called miniature murders while the CSIs are in the field probing other crimes. This miniature murderer is getting a lot of focus so we better see something really cool and explosive come of it all.
The Office: 8:30-9pm on NBC; For safety-training day at Dunder-Mifflin, Michael and Dwight attempt to expose all the workplace dangers to the staff. Meanwhile, Andy returns to the office ranks after his management training (well, anger management training), intent on starting anew with his coworkers.
30 Rock: 9-9:30pm on NBC; Destiny smiles on Liz, who basks in her newfound relationship with Floyd. But it frowns on Jack, as network honcho Don Geiss scrutinizes his performance, putting his very job in jeopardy. Elsewhere, Tracy hopes to get his feature film off the ground and targets Geiss for help.
Survivor: Fiji: 8-9pm on CBS; The tribes merge into one group and one person betrays a former alliance. Another castaway will be voted off at tribal council.
Friday:
Raines: 9-10pm on NBC; Raines investigates the murder of his friend’s wife, who was found with an Aryan Nation symbol on her chest. Yikes!
The Soup: 10-10:30 on E!; This is a great show that recaps the week’s entertainment news and non-news with great commentary by Joel McHale. He’s the supervisor character from those Burger King commercials set in an office. Don’t let that discourage you though, he’s really funny.
Check back here on Friday for my Weekend Movie Preview Lineup to see what your options will be.
Okay, that’s my set of Don’t Miss Shows for this week, April 9 - April 13.
