Looks like the theme this summer will be sequel after sequel. But I’m feeling good about this one. Live Free or Die Hard puts the audience back in the shotgun seat for the fourth time with everyone’s favorite terrorist stopper, John McClane played by Bruce Willis of course. It will undoubtedly be R just like the previous three films of the Die Hard series. Current plans have it being released June 27, 2007.
This time around Bruce Willis has a lot less hair than back in the days of the Die Hard 2 photo above. We’ve also had to trade in Samuel L. Jackson for Justin Long, you know, he’s the “I’m a Mac” guy. They should do a new Mac commercial with these two. Justin could start out, “Hi, I’m a Mac” and then Bruce Willis could just pull out a gun, shoot him in the head, and then say, “Oops. I thought he said ‘Terrorist’. He said ‘Mac’ though, didn’t he?”. Yeah, that’d be great.
In Live Free or Die Hard John McClane must prevent the enemy from taking down the entire computer and technological structure that supports the economy of the United States. Okay, that sounds kinda nerdy but I guess they’re trying to keep him modern. Either way the trailer below looks just as explosive-laden as any fan could hope.

Man, I am looking forward to that! Almost as much as I am looking forward to American Idol to end!

Haha, yeah there is definitely a long road ahead still on Idol.
I got a few eye rolls earlier on Die Hard 4, but personally I’m rather psyched for it. I don’t feel like Willis is too old at all to pull this off. I checked and he just rolled over the 50 yr mark, so that’s not too bad.
