The Bachelor, An Officer and a Gentleman: Results and Review. The show started off with some huge excitement. The girls were woken up and dragged outside to enjoy a morning with a drill sergeant with simulated basic training. As the girls were running through the tires. Bevin fell and badly injured her ankle. Andy comes running up the drive, as one of the girls put it, “Like a knight in shining armor.” The drill sergeant asks, “Are you the medic?” Andy replies, “I’m the doctor.” Andy gave the first rose to her just before they put her in the ambulance and then headed to the hospital with her. No doubt there were several girls who were jealous and were wishing it was them lying on the ground writhing in agony but getting all of the attention from Andy. Her ankle was fortunately not broken. While at the hospital Andy spent lots of time with Bevin and gave her a watch. Which she got to show all of the other girls to the fake smiles of the other girls. This was no doubt at the prompting of some producer, “Did you show em the watch he gave you?”

This week there were 2 group dates, and 1 two-on-one dates:

Group Date 1: Spa treatment, Stephanie T. South Carolina, Stephanie W. Kansas, Amy, Amber and Tina.
Tina was very uncomfortable seeing all the other girls touching him. Stephanie T. was all over Andy, pissing off the other girls. Andy and the five girls rolled around and ‘played’ in the mud. Stephine W., was the girl Andy selected to spend the one-on-one time with giving each other massages. Stephanie T. was really not happy about this, especially after all the effort she put in to get and keep his attention.

Group Date 2: Car Racing, Kate, Danielle, Erin, and Amanda. Bevin was supposed to go but obviously was out for this one. Erin was especially excited about the opportunity to race cars. He spent some one-on-one time with each of the girls. Erin revealed that she likes to shoot guns which excited Andy. Danielle told Andy about how she woke up next to her boyfriend in college and he was dead. This touching tale actually left a really good impression on Andy. The girls had to drive a timed course with Andy in the passenger seat. Amanda raced first and she cruised! She’s my new favorite, which unfortunately is the kiss of death. Danielle and Kate did well and didn’t kill too many cones. Erin who was totally into race cars but couldn’t drive a stick shift! Andy got to teach her and this won her the alone time. He really digs her. Me? Not so much.

Two-on-One Date: Peyton and Tessa. These ladies got to go with Andy to the aircraft carrier museum U.S.S. Midway in San Diego. He got to explain technical terms like hatch, and flight deck, and passage way. They made a big deal of this being his element. The girls had to really fight for Andy tonight because one was getting a rose and one was getting a ride home. The three of them had dinner together before he spent some alone time with each of them. How awkward must that have been? The three of them sitting there together with the lone rose laying on the table right there in front of all of them. They both laid it out there but for Peyton it just wasn’t enough. Tessa received the rose. You could tell Andy was pretty broken up about this one. Peyton got left standing there crying as she watched Andy fly off with Tessa in a helicopter. At least she didn’t have to watch as Tessa and Andy kissed in the chopper.

At the pre-ceremony cocktail party, the interesting events were Andy questioning Stephanie T.’s motives, Andy not thinking Amanda was too serious (man, I really really liked her too)., and Andy and Bevin kissing!

Erin - I’m shocked. I would have bet she would get the first one. He seemed to really like her.
