Dancing with the Stars

“America’s Favorite Ballroom”
There were only a few surprises this week. After their perfect score last night, Apolo & Julianne received the judge’s encore, this was not one of them. Before we get to any results just a few one off notes from tonight’s show. One of the best quotes from last night’s audience compared Clyde to Frankenstein. John Ratzenberger (Go Cliffy!) thanked the audience because since he started the show his books have been flying off the shelves. Now on with the results.

Couples who will be back for sure next week:
Laila & Maksim
John & Edyta (Go Cliffy!)
Apolo & Julianne
Joey & Kym
Ian & Cheryl
Billy Ray & Karina

Bottom 2:
Clyde & Elena
Heather & Jonathan
(that was surprising)

This weeks filler:
Lisa Renna, a former Dancing with the Stars contestant, performed a preview of from her Broadway show, Chicago. Macy Gray performed and then they did a brief behind the scenes look at the make up required (that was kind of interesting. During Jimmy Kimmel’s bit on the dance for next week, Jimmy and his dance partner, Guillermo the male parking lot security, got into an argument resulting Guillermo storming off in tears. Jimmy went into the ladies room to make up with Guillermo and finds him in the arms of Joey Fatone. Seeing Guillermo and Joey hugging each other in the ladies room was without a doubt the most disturbing thing I have seen in a long time [shiver].

Next week: the Swing

Going Home Tonight: Clyde & Elena (Finally! …er, I mean that’s too bad).
Shocked?

I thought I’d add a link to John’s book, I didn’t know what it was either:
