Kristine Lefebvre, who was fired from this season of The Apprentice for an inaccurate phone number, will appear in a June 2007 issue of Playboy. I’m not talking about the articles section either, she’s gonna be nude. Personally, I’m a little surprised by this news. Lefebvre always came across to me as an incredibly business oriented, no-thrills, lawyer. I also didn’t really picture her as the sexy type, again for the same reasons. I would have pictured her slapping someone that asked her to take bikini pictures.
I’m not trying to say she’s a bad person for doing this, but I don’t see how it could do a lot for your reputation as an attorney. Her motivation does seem positive though as she says it’s because as a cervical cancer survivor she wants to send a message of support to others with the disease. Seems like she could have done that just by doing so well on The Apprentice, but I guess that doesn’t address the issue of body image if that’s what she means.
Interesting side note, Kristine brokered deals in previous years for other Playboy posers such as Pamela Anderson and Debbie Gibson. So I guess she was well learned on the process of getting into the pages of Playboy.
The season finale (perhaps series finale?) will be this Sunday (April 22) at 10pm on NBC.
