It’s another week of television shows coming at you and we’re here to help. Here’s a break down by night of what you need to be sure to catch and what’s going on this week, April 23 - April 27:
Monday:
Heroes: 9-10pm on NBC; Heroes is finally back after its hiatus. Sylar hunts down two more people on his list. Nathan considers Linderman’s advice as he faces difficult decisions. Thompson (Eric Roberts) searches for Claire. Hiro, now possessing the sword, returns to his goal of saving the world.
24: 9-10pm on Fox; It’s now 12pm in “24″ land. While VP Daniels and Lennox mend fences, relationships back at CTU are shattered.
Dancing with the Stars: 8-9:30pm on ABC; This will be the sixth round of competition. Check out the rest of our Dancing with the Stars coverage.
The Bachelor: 9:30-11:00pm on ABC; Andy and the remaining 9 contestants head out to Lake Tahoe for jet skiing and gambling. Before the first group date one of the ladies has an emotional breakdown. One of the one-on-one dates gets steamy while the second is more “let’s just talk”. Only six ladies will remain after tonight’s episode. Check out the rest of our The Bachelor coverage.
Tuesday:
American Idol: 8-9pm on Fox; Last week we saw Sanjaya Malakar get sent home, finally. This week will focus on the American Idol Charity, Idol Gives Back, so each of the remaining six contestants will be performing songs of compassion. Does that mean we don’t have a musical coach? Not sure, but that’s possible.
House: 9-10pm on Fox; All the doctors try to figure out what’s wrong with a 28yr old con artist who collapses after her brain “freezes”. The case becomes personal for Foreman. House plays mind games with one of Wilson’s ex-wives while Wilson and Cuddy go on another date.
Dancing with the Stars: 9-10pm on ABC; The sixth round results are in! Check out the rest of our Dancing with the Stars coverage.
Wednesday:
American Idol: 8-10pm on Fox; We’ll find out who will become this season’s #6 place and go home. Tonight is also the great big Idol Gives Back charity show night. There are going to be a ton of guest appearances and performances by: Kelly Clarkson, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Forest Whitaker, Helen Bonham Carter, Daniel Radcliffe, Gwen Stefani, Sacha Baron Cohen, and more.
Lost: 10-11pm on ABC; Sun learns the identity of her child after being examined by Juliet. Desmond allows the help of an unlikely enemy with the new island visitor. Flashbacks for Sun and Jin.
Thursday:
Survivor: Fiji: 8-9pm on CBS; The castaways compete for a seaplane ride and trip to spa. Boo’s injury during the competition hinders his process. Castaways learn Yau-Man has the immunity idol.
CSI: 9-10pm on CBS; CSI investigates the death of a washed-up boxer who lived and trained in a brothel and was detested by the prostitutes who lived there.
The Office: 8:30-9pm on NBC; A crisis occurs when a shipment of paper is distributed bearing an obscene watermark. Unfortunately, a school has already used the paper to print and send out their prom invitations. Thankfully Michael holds a press conference to calm things down.
30 Rock: 9-9:30pm on NBC; Season Finale. Sean Hayes guest stars. The summer hiatus looms for TGS (the sub-show) while Liz confronts the trials of a long distance relationship with Floyd. Jack’s mom arrives in town for his pending wedding. Kenneth is tasked with searching out a missing Tracy.
Friday:
The Soup: 10-10:30 on E!; This is a great show that recaps the week’s entertainment news and non-news with great commentary by Joel McHale. He’s the supervisor character from those Burger King commercials set in an office. Don’t let that discourage you though, he’s really funny.
Check back here on Friday for my Weekend Movie Preview Lineup to see what your options will be.
Okay, that’s my set of Don’t Miss Shows for this week, April 23 - April 27.
Have another show to add? Send me a message and let me know what else you think should be on this list.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I’ve now installed CaveMonkey’s plugin to resolve the feeds being cut-off at the line. Let me know if it comes back or doesn’t really fix it. Thanks.
