After the death of his daughter author Mike Enslin, played by John Cusack, becomes obsessed with the supernatural and afterlife. After ghost hunting and haunted house searching he has given up hope. He then picks up a tip to check out room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. The room, notorious for its dozens of deaths of its occupants, draws Enslin in. Well he survive the night? Who knows. Will this be another Stephen King story adapted into a poor movie? Who knows. I love Stephen King books though so I’ll definitely be looking forward to this one. 1408 is set to release July 13, 2007 and stars John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.
