Survivor Headlines:
-Stacey, Dreamz, Earl and Alex win Reward
-Stacey wins Immunity
-Mookie joins the Jury.
Alliances:
The Syndicate: Earl, Cassandra, Dreamz, Yao-man, Stacey, and Boo
The 4-Horsemen: Mookie and Alex (Well, that’s not looking too good is it).
Early Plotting:
The fall-out from last weeks tribal council dominated the beginning of the this week’s episode. Mookie and Alex immediately knew after last weeks tribal council that Dreamz had sold them down the river. Without Edgardo, the syndicate augmented by Stacy and Boo now have all the power so Mookie and Alex’s days are numbered. Dreamz tried to make nice with Mookie and Alex by pretending that he got played by the Syndicate just like them. They didn’t buy it.
Reward Challenge:
This weeks reward challenge required one player to launch balls out into a muddy field with a giant sling shot. The other players had to try to catch the balls with a lacrosse-like stick to get a point. The first to 5 points won. The winning team received a seaplane ride to a luxury spa resort, to get cleaned up, enjoy a gourmet meal, and spend the night in a bed. They also got to send one person from the losing team to exile island. Oh yeh, get cleaned up they received a prominently displayed basket of a well known brand of cleansing products. I wonder how much they paid for that product placement? The teams broke down as follows:
Orange: Yau-ma, Mookie, boo, cassandra, (4)
Green: Stacey, Dreamz, Earl and Alex (5)
The game got fairly physical. At one point, Alex pushed Boo and popped Boo’s ACL. In the end, the green team beat out the orange team but just barely, 5 to 4. The green team decided to send Boo to exile island. So Boo got the 1st clue to the new hidden immunity idol.

At the spa, Alex decided to use the opportunity to work on building a new Survivor 2010 alliance. The other dirty players who didn’t get to go were pretty bitter. After they got back while Yau was fushing, Mookie and Alex searched Yau-man’s bag and found the other hidden immunity idol. Nice guys. Stacey and Casasndra were making a girls alliance when, they heard Alex and Mookie discussing the immunity idol close to where they were hidden. Mookie and Alex’s plan was to make Yau-man reveal that he had the idol to show the others that Yau-man had been lying to them, in an effort to make them vote against Yau. Then they discovered Stacey and Cassandra watching them, blowing their plan. They rushed back to camp to break the story of Yau’s idol before the girls could. First they tried to blackmail Yau. Yau immediately went to the other and told them what happened. The others were pissed that those two searched his stuff. No one really cared about the idol except Dreamz.

Immunity Challenge:
The immunity challenge this week was the Survivor version of Battleship. Each player secretly selects three squares in a row either horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. When the game starts players pick squares to bomb one at a time. Once all of a player’s squares have been bombed they are knocked out.
The players were knocked out in this order: Earl, Boo, Dreamz, Cassandra, Mookie, Alex, Yau-Man
Leaving Stacey to win immunity.
Tribal Council:
Alex and Mookie’s plan was then to just cause as much trouble as possible. On the other side of the camp, Boo comes up with this brilliant plan (not really). He is afraid that despite the fact that Yau has an idol and neither Mookie or Alex even has a clue (haha!, no seriously they don’t have a clue to the idol) that one of these guys has found an idol. SO he talks the others into spliting their votes so that Mookie and Alex each get three votes. That way even if one of them has an idol one of them will definitely get knocked out. No one seems big on this plan but in the interest of unity everyone goes along with it.
At tribal council, Alex pointed out how many of the players played dirty. Jeff called Alex and Mookie on going through Yau’s stuff. Alex tried to make the other start to distrust each other, he may have gotten through to some of them, especially as the other players are starting to look ahead to when Mookie and Alex are gone. When the time came to vote Mookie voted for Boo, the other six followed through on their plan, and Alex, well Alex voted for Mookie.
When Jeff tallied the votes, it was Mookie who joined the jury: 1 vote Boo, 3 votes Alex, 4 votes Mookie
By throwing Mookie under the bus, Alex may have won himself a few extra weeks. If the other 6 players are already looking to how to play within their group. Jeff made the comment, “Alex is either odd man out or suddenly very valuable”. He might just be right. Next week should be interesting.
