It’s another week of television shows coming at you and we’re here to help. Here’s a break down by night of what you need to be sure to catch and what’s going on this week, April 30 - May 4:


Monday:
Heroes: 9-10pm on NBC; String Theory: Hiro is disturbed by the grim future he discovers where those with special abilities are hunted and considered threats to society. Hmm… Sounds like X-Men. He attempts to return to his own time, but is caught up in a battle that involves a host of new and oddly familiar faces. This is the ‘5 years in the future’ episode. Hopefully they’ll get back to the main storyline and not spend too much on this topic.

24: 9-10pm on Fox; It’s now 1 AM in “24″ land. CTU searches for a lead on Chang from Audrey, and acting president Daniels believes there may be a leak at CTU or the White House.

Dancing with the Stars: 8-9:45pm on ABC; This will be the seventh round of competition and includes a ballroom dance and Latin dance for each couple. Check out the rest of our Dancing with the Stars coverage.

The Bachelor: 9:45-11:00pm on ABC; Andy and four of the remaining six contestants visit an L.A. elementary school, where they get down and dirty for a good cause: rebuilding a playground for kindergartners. Andy also spends time with all six aboard his yacht, turns winemaker during a one-on-one encounter, goes kayaking on another and dines with a bejeweled bachelorette in a Japanese garden on a third. Tuesday:
American Idol: 8-9pm on Fox; Last week we saw no one go home on the Idol Gives Back event, but there was a very cool Elvis Presley and Celine Dion duet This week we’ll see Bon Jovi as he mentors the six remaining finalists before they perform songs from the Bon Jovi catalog. House: 9-10pm on Fox; A 14yr old with leukemia needs a bone-marrow transplant from his 10yr old brother to save his life, but the brother develops an infection that not only prevents him from donating but could kill him as well. Meanwhile, House is criticizing Wilson about his handling of the boys’ parents.

Dancing with the Stars: 9-10pm on ABC; The seventh round results are in! Check out the rest of our Dancing with the Stars coverage.

Wednesday:
American Idol: 9-10pm on Fox; We’ll find out who will become this season’s #6 and #5 places and go home. Bon Jovi will also be performing. Check out the rest of our American Idol coverage


Lost: 10-11pm on ABC; The Brig: Locke breaks away from the Others in an attempt to persuade Sawyer to help him get rid of a major thorn in both their sides. Meanwhile, a newcomer to the island has shocking news about Flight 815.

Thursday:
Survivor: Fiji: 8-9pm on CBS; The castaways compete for a helicopter ride and a white-water rafting trip. Another player is voted off at tribal council. check out the rest of our Survivor Fiji coverage.

CSI: 9-10pm on CBS; Naudin/Allen: Conclusion of a swap between two California mothers. One is a successful, competitive mom from Orange County and the other is a belly-dancing massage therapist from Santa Rosa.

The Office: 8:35-9:15pm on NBC; Women’s Appreciation: The staffers are shocked when a flasher victimizes Phyllis. In response, Michael takes the office ladies on a women’s appreciation excursion. Meanwhile, Dwight and his nemesis, Andy, team up to catch the deviant.

Friday:
The Soup: 10-10:30 on E!; This is a great show that recaps the week’s entertainment news and non-news with great commentary by Joel McHale. He’s the supervisor character from those Burger King commercials set in an office. Don’t let that discourage you though, he’s really funny.

    I’m quite upset you didn’t feature Wedding Crashers in your Monday night line up.

    It just finished.

    It was awesome.

    Was it really? I skipped over it because the commercials just didn’t pull me in. If you’re serious about it being good I’ll add it to the list and my DVR.

    It was a lot funnier than I expected. It was basically Punk’d with a wedding theme and a lot of ridiculous occurrences. I liked it.
