“America’s Favorite Ballroom”
Tonight, the special guest is Meat Loaf. I find this to be an odd choice for a ballroom dancing show. I’ll be interested to see what he performs. I wonder if he knows this is Dancing with the Stars and not Rock Star.
Airtime filler aside, last night’s show had some great performances but few surprises. A quick look at the leader board from last night’s show and it will be fairly obvious who is in danger of going home tonight:
Judges Leader Board
Laila & Maksim: 59
Joey & Kym: 59
Ian & Cheryl: 54
Apolo & Julianne: 54
John & Edyta: 45
Billy Ray & Karina: 38
Laila & Maksim and Joey & Kym’s performances were just so great that there is no chance they will not be back next week. Ian did way better last night than he has done all season so I think he’ll get another chance. Apolo & Julianne have been so strong all season that even if they didn’t have the highest scores, I can’t imagine they will be going home. That of course leaves our other two couples.
Week 7 Bottom Two Prediction:
John and Edyta
Billy Ray & Karina
Even though the judges thought John & Edyta had their best performances of the season, John & Edyta still look weak compared to the competition they are up against. Billy Ray has had a good run but, personality and perseverance can only take you so far. If you ask me, despite what he might say, I think Billy Ray has had about enough. He’s ready to head home. Its possible he could hang on for another week if he really has a huge fan base. Even if he does that only postpones the inevitable by another week. These two couples just aren’t in the same class as the other four.
