George Michael

George Michael, 43, plead guilty today to a charge of driving while unfit through drugs. Michael, real name: George Panayiotou, was arrested in the early in the morning October 2, 2006 after police responded to complaints that a car was blocking an intersection in North London. Upon arriving, police found George Michael slumped over the wheel of his car.

Bad place to park if you’re trying to hide that whole drunken and drugged driving thing. Great place to park if you’re trying to pull a Boy George and get some new media attention. Yah! Let’s see how he tried to back peddle out of this one:

“I am perfectly aware that I did something very wrong and got into my car when I was unfit to drive,” Michael told the court. “I was not in my normal physical state and I’m perfectly prepared to accept the correct punishment for that and I would have accepted it a long time ago.”

“It was fairly predictable considering how much work I had done that week,” he said.

Oddly enough, when I first saw this headline I thought perhaps George had finally realized his guilt and why I was so upset. You see last Christmas I gave him my heart, but the very next day he gave it away. This year, to save me from tears, I’ll give it to someone special… Wham!
