A few weeks ago I detailed a few of the shows for each network’s fall 2007 television line-up. Here’s a quick run through some additional updates on NBC’s plans although the formal reveal on their fall schedule won’t be out until Monday:
- Friday Night Lights has been renewed despite its average of 6.1 million viewers. I know some people are really big on this show, but I’ve never seen a single episode. Maybe I need to add it to the DVR. If you’ve seen it let me know.
- Law & Order: Original & CI will soon have their fates determined. If the original version gets cut it’s likely to jump to TNT since it’s there 25 hours a day already. So far it’s been on for 17 years and if it goes another 3 it’ll meet the record set by Gunsmoke for longest running program. As far as Criminal Intent (CI), I couldn’t care less what happens to ol’ crooked head D’Onofrio.
Update (5/14): Looks like C&I will be going to the USA network while the original version will stay on NBC for at least another season.
- The Bionic Woman remake is heading your way starring Michelle Ryan, hmm… she’s English. What, was Heather Mills busy? She should have plenty of free time after getting the boot from Dancing with the Stars.
Update (5/14): Check out this preview clip from The Bionic Woman. It’s got some Matrix-esque super jumping at the start, which is cool, and the fighting doesn’t look too bad either. I think I just may add this one to my DVR come fall time.
Check out a more detailed look at the Bionic Woman with more video clips. - Chuck unfortunately has nothing to do with the mighty Norris, but close. It’s a spy drama coming from the mind of Josh Schwart, creator of “The OC”.
Update (5/14): Okay, another preview clip and a few more details for ya here on Chuck: It’s a comedy about a college-age IT employee (he works for “The Nerd Herd,” a mobile tech support company), who gains access to a wealth of government secrets and becomes an secret agent overnight. It’s written by the head writer of The O.C., Josh Schwartz, and stars Zachary Levi.

That’s it for now. I’ll update you on Monday with the formal network plans.
Update (5/14): More details on the NBC fall 2007 TV line up.
