“America’s Favorite Ballroom”

On tonight’s episode the competition was narrowed to the three couples who will compete next week in the Dancing with the Stars Finale. Joey & Kym Jive last night earned them the judge’s encore. It was really good although I would have preferred to see Apolo & Julianne dance again.

This weeks filler:
Enrique Igelesius performed two songs. They had a Flamenco dancer and his musical quartet. That was… different. This performance was not what I think if when I think of Flamenco dancing. The guy dancing made it look like a cross between tap dancing and clogging. Jimmy Kimmel’s bit this week was cute. All of his staff was dancing through the halls (except for accounting) because they had caught the dancing bug from him.

Poor Cheryl. She wanted the threepeat. She was lucky in her partners the past few season and she came so close this season too.

Next week: The Finals! The couples will first perform a dance selected by the judges. Then the will dance a freestyle round where “anything goes”. Each of the couples will also get a final performance on the two-hour final results show next Tuesday.
