I don’t usually take to these kiddie CGI movies as they mostly seem a dime a dozen these days, but this one, “Surf’s Up”, actually doesn’t look too bad. I haven’t noticed any revolutionary developments with family friendly CGI’s these days, so it’d be nice to see something different come out of this one. We’ll know soon enough though, this comes out in just a few weeks and I think I may just go see it as I could use something light hearted for a change.

Surf’s Up Plot:

A stylistically daring CGI feature, “Surf’s Up” is based on the groundbreaking revelation that surfing was actually invented by penguins. In the film, a documentary crew will take audiences behind the scenes and onto the waves during the most competitive, heartbreaking and dangerous display of surfing known to man, the Penguin World Surfing Championship.
