After a major on air blow out with View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck last week, Rosie O’Donnell will not even be returning to finish the last three weeks of her contract with the show. It had previously been announced that Rosie O’Donnell’s contract with The View was not going to be renewed. Rosie’s big mouth had already gotten her into a lot of ratings-enriching trouble this season which including a high profile feud with Donald Trump, offensive remarks about Chinese people, and frankly ridiculous statements regarding the 9/11 attacks. After the argument, Rosie reportedly left the building in a very mature way by trashed her dressing room. Followed shortly after by a one of her writers who defaced a picture of Hasselbeck hanging in the hallway at ABC. After this incident Rosie will not be returning to the show at all even to shoot any of the special episodes that were planned prior to her departure.

Ha! She complained that the media would spin it as “fat, lesbian, loud Rosie”. The media didn’t have to spin anything. She did it to herself. C’mon, all together now, “moo”.

Yeah, she has really gone for the full on abrasive mode. It’s so weird to think back to her when she was all sunshine and smiles for her talk show.

I’m so glad she’s off The View. She may have been a ratings booster but at a price of cheapening the once insightful show. Personally, I watched the show less because of her.
Isn’t it ironic that Rosie was calling Elisabeth a coward and now she doesn’t even have the nerve or ethic to finish out the last 3 weeks of her contract?

I’m with you on that!!! Rosie cheapened the show…I stopped all together wacthing the show…The only COWARD I saw was ROSIE…she got beat down by SWEET Elisabeth and she couldn’t face the millions that saw her defeat!! I LOVED IT!!!! Rosie is where she needs to be….In the GUTTER with the trash!

When she was doing stand-up and had her own talk show she was funny, now she’s just crazy. I can’t say I’m sorry to see her go. It was too much like an episode of Jerry Springer.
