Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 held on to his command of the box office earnings again this weekend and triumphed over the new releases including Knocked Up and Mr. Brooks. I was glad to see Knocked Up pull in almost $30 million as I’ve been enjoying director Judd Apatow’s work. Shrek 3 managed to hold on to a very strong earning with over $26 million as well. Mr. Brooks had a disappointing debut earning with only $10 million when you consider the cast involved (Costner, Hurt, and Moore). I think poor reviews killed its chance of moving up higher over the weekend.
