In what must clearly be a case of masochism Katie Holmes, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, says she’s ready to have more children. I’ve got no problem with people having kids, well mostly, but when you slip into a marriage with a cult obsessed patriarch I’ve gotta wonder what drives someone to want more of it. The interview airs tonight and you’ll get to see a well rehearsed Holmes repeating messages like, “They are treating me very well,” and “No one is hurting me.” Well, not really, it’ll be more like:

“We’re having the best time, it’s so amazing,” Holmes, 28, said of the year she and Cruise have spent largely out of the spotlight.

“He’s a great father and so it came to no shock that when we had Suri he was amazing with the baby.”

Holmes has also gotten plenty of time playing stepmom to Cruise’s other children from his previous marriage with Nicole Kidman. Note that Holmes, 28, is closer in age to Cruise and Kidman’s children, a 12 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter, than to Tom.

“The kids are so sweet, they’re so great with Suri and she lights up when she sees them,” she said. “We have so many kids in our house, there’s always this wonderful chatter and the great noise of kids.”

What you won’t see in the interview tonight? Katie slipping a scribbled note to the cameraman pleading, “HELP ME!”
