It’s another week of television shows coming at you and we’re here to help. Here’s a break down by night of what you need to be sure to catch and what’s going on this week, June 11 - 15, 2007. It’s the summer season, so the schedule is made up of a lot of repeats (which we don’t cover) and then a lot of summer programming which means mostly new reality TV episodes. Thankfully there are a few nuggets of enjoyment out there like Pirate Master and Hell’s Kitchen which started up last week. Take a look and see what other shows you don’t want to miss this week.

Monday:
Hell’s Kitchen: 9-10pm on Fox; Members of the men’s and women’s teams face off in a food-prep challenge that rewards the winning team with a chance to spend time with Chef Ramsay away from the kitchen (Ahhh!). By the end only 10 chefs will remain.

Creature Comforts: 8-8:30pm on CBS; Self Image; Winging It; Art - Birds and pigs discuss flying; poker-playing dogs talk about art; various animals look at self-image.

Tuesday:
On the Lot: 8-9pm on Fox; One director from last week is eliminated. Five of the remaining directors screen their films.

America’s Got Talent: 8-10pm on NBC; Los Angeles Auditions - Talent-show hopefuls take part in the second round of auditions, judged by The Hoff, Piers Morgan, and Sharon Osbourne. Jerry Springer hosts.

Wednesday:
So You Think You Can Dance: 8-10pm on Fox; The first round of competition for viewer votes features the Top 20 dancers, 10 men and 10 women.

Next Best Thing: Who is the Greatest Celebrity Impersonator: 8-9pm on ABC; Auditions in Las Vegas.

Creature Comforts: 8:30-9pm on CBS; Self Image; Winging It; Art - Birds and pigs discuss flying; poker-playing dogs talk about art; various animals look at self-image. They appear to be playing this episode twice this week.

American Inventor: 9-10pm on ABC; Contestants from Los Angeles and San Fransisco pitch their ideas in hopes of moving on to the next round.

Last Comic Standing: 9-11pm on NBC; Fifth season opener. A global quest to find the funniest comic begins with searches in New York City, Montreal, and San Antonio. Bill Bellamy is the new host. Alonzo Bodden, ANT, and Kathleen Madigan serve as talent scouts.

Thursday:
Pirate Master: 8-9pm on CBS; Contestants/Pirates continue to search for $1 million in treasure. Louie tries to drum up support for a mutiny, again. The pirates go on an expedition for $35,000 in gold. Jay shares his money with another crew member (Psst, it’s Sean. They already showed that in the commercial.). Another pirate is cut adrift. Check out last week’s episode of Pirate Master and the rest of our Pirate Master coverage.

So You Think You Can Dance: 9-10pm on Fox; Two of the Top 20 are voted off.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: 10-11pm on NBC; K&R (Part 2 of 3) - Simon loses control and takes it out on the press. Meanwhile, Jordan’s condition worsens and flashbacks reveal why Matt and Danny were first fired from the show. Counting down to the end of the series. Dead man walking. Kinda sucks too as I finally caught up on my DVR with this show. I’m going to miss it next season.

NBA Finals: Game 4: 9-11:30pm; Game 4 of the series.

Friday:
The Soup: 10-10:30 on E!; This is a great show that recaps the week’s entertainment news and non-news with great commentary by Joel McHale. He’s the supervisor character from those Burger King commercials set in an office. Don’t let that discourage you though, he’s really funny.

Check back here on Friday for my Weekend Movie Preview Lineup to see what your options will be.

Okay, that’s my set of Don’t Miss Shows for this week, June 11 - 15, 2007.

Have another show to add? Send me a message and let me know what else you think should be on this list.
