Last week we saw the worst service in Hell’s Kitchen history resulting in Tiffany getting kicked off of the show. Aaron has some serious issues. This guy needs to be on Dr. Phil’s show, not Gordon Ramsey’s. He is constantly breaking down and cracking under the pressure and its only week 2! Vinnie is the other problem child this season. Chef has it in for him but Vinnie seems like a jerk. He is looking for trouble so I have no sympathy for him.
Challenge
At 6AM after 3 hours of sleep the chefs were woken up and sent to see the Chef. He was very unhappy that they had wasted so much food last night. So he took them out to the parking lot and tossed them dead fish which they had to catch and them carry to their storerooms. Aaron then started crying again causing chef Ramsey to give him a 15 minute time out.
The team that prepared the most Dover Soles to Chef Ramsey’s standards would win the challenge. The blue team only prepared 8 of which 4 were from Josh. The red team got 9 and so they won a fishing cruise with Chef Ramsey. The men got to prep all of the Dover Sole for the next dinner session. Aaron missed both the challenge and the first 4 hours of the punishment. When he finally showed up Aaron announced that he was quitting. The rest of the guys talked him into staying.
Dinner Service
At dinner service Aaron had to work table side, serving the pan fried Dover Sole instead of helping the team to prepare dinner. As they were preparing him to serve Aaron totally spaced out. After the guests arrived, Aaron walked around introducing himself to all the tables prompting Chef Ramsey to tell John-Phillippe to “get that donkey out of there.” He then had to filet the Sole when it was served. It took him 15 minutes resulting in cold fish and some bones for the customers.
Vinnie, Josh, Brad, and especially Eddie were having problems with their stations. I was surprised to see that Jen stepped up and provided the women with the leadership they needed. I really thought that it would be Joanna or Melissa who pulled them together since they had the two strongest personalities on the red team. Joanna instead was breaking down at the garnish station. By the end of the dinner service the women actually served all of their tables while the men were thrown out of the kitchen by Chef Ramsey. The red team then finished the blue tables as well. Hmm, I wonder which team won tonight?
Results
Rock was the least bad of the blue team. Chef Ramsey chose him to select the two chef’s from his team to put up on the block. Rock nominated Eddie and Josh. Eddie because he didn’t think he could come out of his shell and be an asset to the team (not because he screwed up everything he touched tonight?). Chef Ramsey was surprised that Josh was nominated as was I. Josh was nominated because, “he was all over the place.” I don’t know what that means. I actually couldn’t believe that Aaron wasn’t nominated. Chef Ramsey called Josh a fake but he gave him another chance. Eddie was sent home instead.
Next Week: The kitchen opens for breakfast to serve some of our troops. Then at the dinner service apparently one of the chefs really screws up and someone heads to the hospital.

Aaron annoyed me more than any other past contestant tonight. How Ramsey didn’t kick him off, I’ll never know.

I caught the last half hour of the show last night and I was cracking up. Man these people have no clue. I can’t believe Aaron didn’t get the boot. Sweating all over the food. At least he didn’t start to cry.
