The wise Marge Simpson once said, “People do crazy things on TV, like eat at Arby’s.” Well it turns out that you could get a chance to do something even crazier than just eat at Arby’s. While I was in there filling my Jamocha shake craving I picked up a flyer that caught my eye. Arby’s is running a cross promotion with the upcoming Bruce Willis’ flick, Live Free or Die Hard (preview), where you can enter to win a day with a Hollywood stuntman.

A day with a stuntman actually sounded kinda cool so I thought I’d look into it a little more. Turns out the actual prize isn’t so much a day with a stuntman as it is a trip to Fox Studios out in CA and lunch with a stuntman. I had been imaging you would go to a movie set, sign stacks of legal waivers, and then get all harnessed up and start jumping out of things, etc. No such luck. Maybe it’s a lunch on top of a getaway car in a high speed chase! Or it could be lunch on a plane that gets shot down and we have to escape by parachutting out, but there’s only one parachute! Why Arby’s?! Why would you only give us one parachute?!

Okay, probably not, but to make up for the lame lunch event Arby’s is also including in the Grand Prize package “Two $50 Arby’s Gift Cards.” Um, are they kidding? Why not just one $100 gift card. Better yet, why not a year’s supply of Jamocha shakes. Come on Arby’s, you’re killing me.
