Tom Sizemore

It looks like the California court system has finally got the guts to stand up to that bully “Fame and Fortune”. Actor Tom Sizemore, 45, has been sentenced to 16 months in state prison for violating his parole due to methamphetamines police found in his car.

Gee, can’t this guy catch a break? Wait, what’s that? Oh nevermind. The Associated Press reports:

Sizemore was convicted in 2003 of domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend, former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss. He remained free pending an appeal.

In October 2004, he pleaded guilty to a felony count of possession of a controlled substance identified as methamphetamine and was placed on probation. The probation was revoked in 2005 when Sizemore was caught using a prosthetic device during a drug test.

His probation was later reinstated, but he tested positive for drug use last year and was given another three years’ probation, authorities said.

Nice, there’s a hit in there for each year since 2003. Seems like a sure bet for prison, right? President Martin Sheen (well okay, just on TV so I don’t think that makes it official official) was there in court today to support Sizemore and outside court said, “I don’t think prison is appropriate for anyone who is in the grip of drug and alcohol abuse.” Whatever they end up doing this guy needs some serious help.
