Big Brother 8

Foreword: Big Brother Season 8 is now in full swing and to avoid missing any current details you’ll want to check out the online, uncensored live feeds (14 day free trial) and see what is going on right now.

Picking up where we left off yesterday with our first impressions of the Big Brother 8 house guests it’s now time to take aim at the second half of the bunch. You can jump back to Part 1 of our first impressions if you missed it yesterday.

Jen: Curvy-Jen, 23, is definitely satisfied with herself and she’s ready to share that satisfaction. At the circle greet and meet we got an earful of all her successes. I’d like to know more about this Beverly Hills estate she manages. What sort of estate manager also has to be a nanny, actress, model, and host? Nothing wrong with being a nanny, but if you have to have 5 jobs at 23 then you’re likely not doing any of them very well. Jen has already deemed the male offerings of BB8 as insufficient for her needs, that shouldn’t stop the guys from trying though. I’m expecting Jen’s assets (as she put it bluntly) to keep her alive for quite awhile in this game, as long as her ego doesn’t get in the way. Potential for BB8 Drama: 4 out of 5.

Jessica: The whole “worst enemies” thing has already fizzled a bit after just one episode as Jessica, 21, revealed her rivalry with Carol included an unpaid $5 debt. Wow. Intense. So other than this life-debt Jessica is turning out to offer a peppy, pitchy side of unnecessary excitement to BB8. Hopefully that attitude will land her in some fiery arguments. Potential for BB8 Drama: 3 out of 5.

Joe: No thanks. Please, BB8, take him back. Joe, 23, with his over the top behavior is going to wear me out. That and his eagerness to share personal information like getting gonorrhea is not going to place Joe high in my ranks. He’s already demonstrated an immaturish attitude towards Dustin, his ex, when he refused to shake his hand or even look at him. Expecting drama from this house guest is a no brainer, but I’d expect it to wear out his welcome quickly. Potential for BB8 Drama: 5 out of 5.

Kail: Taking on the role of first HoH is a quick way to make enemies in a grand way because you’re being asked to judge people on little input. I’m expecting Kail to lack the necessary quality of tolerance to survive this group of guests as several of them go against her values. Being the “Older Gal” isn’t going to help her chances either as she’ll easily stand out of the emerging cliques. The excitement factor is pretty low for this house guest. Potential for BB8 Drama: 2 out of 5.

Mike: This house guest looks to be our average Joe. Mike, 26, didn’t make many waves on the first episode, but he’s a big guy and that will likely add to his appeal as a potential leader. With such a neutral introduction to this house guest I’m not terribly sure what to expect out of him. Potential for BB8 Drama: 2.5 out of 5.

Nick: Mr. Muscles has already begun his role of male eye candy as Joe gushed over him in the diary room. I was really surprised to see Nick, 25, not get a teammate in the first round HoH competition as he looks like a good candidate for endurance tests. While Joe may have his eyes on Nick it looks like Nick prefers Jen. No surprise there. Maybe she’ll get him worked up, because not being able to land a teammate in the first round doesn’t make you a strong candidate for an outstanding personality. Shy doesn’t win this game Nick. Potential for BB8 Drama: 3 out of 5.

Zach: Last night I noted Zach’s, 30, creepy smile and he’s still got me worried today. He’s already had a sidebar on all the attractive ladies but states his priorities are for the half million dollars, not the other booty. I’m hoping for a silent, but deadly approach out of this guy as he seems just old enough to have collected up some good tricks. Potential for BB8 Drama: 3 out of 5.

*Please, BB8, take him back. Joe, 23, with his over the top behavior is going to wear me out.*

Yeah, I’d love to see him on the chopping block in place of [*spoiler removed*] this week! If not, maybe he can be put on the block next week and not get the Power of Veto. Then we can say adios to him very quickly!

That would be great if it happened. Either that or as America’s Player we could have Eric shout over him every time Joe started to talk.
