Here are your entertainment news and reviews highlights from this past week: July 2 - 6, 2007.
Monday: Wow. Cameron Diaz has been keeping plenty busy. Apparently when she’s not insulting South American countries she occupies her time with other women’s husbands, like Mindfreak’s Criss Angel.
Tuesday: Transformers came out in theaters to very strong reviews. Have you seen it yet?
Wednesday: 4th of July!
Thursday: Rejoice. Big Brother 8 started up with its first episode of the season. 14 houseguests and $500,000!
Friday: JJ Abrams released a frustratingly vague “trailer” for his unnamed new movie, which currently goes by “Cloverfield“. Could be a Godzilla remake. Hmm…

Definitely not a Godzilla remake. Paramount doesn’t have the rights to the film, and there has already been talk that it will be a epic sci-fi monster movie. Has been temporarily dubbed The Parasite, especially from what people have seen over at ethahaaswasright.com
