Daniele has started to steal the spotlight on Big Brother 8 with her constant trips to the Diary Room and budding/not-budding relationship with the man-child Nick. Unfortunately, Daniele had a bit of bad luck on Sunday when her team lost the food competition, again. The issue of food and Daniele here is nothing ground breaking as Dick raised his concerns to her in the second episode regarding her weight. Then there was Eric’s America’s Player task of pretending to be upset over Daniele’s slim figure. We’ve even heard Daniele admit the slop is a bad idea for her as she isn’t eating it. Grrr-reat idea BB. So when I saw a screen capture of Daniele hanging around in her bikini I had one idea (just one, cause I don’t want to hurt myself, see?).
Yesterday, during a conversation with Kail, Daniele came to the realization that she is, in fact, allowed to eat food. “I Can Has Cheezburger?” To which Kail responded, “oh yes, you can has cheezburger.” For Pete’s sake, someone get this girl a “cheezburger”!

Daniele discusses this plan with Dick and he agrees it could be a good idea. Simultaneously Amber is outside with Jameka thinking of offering Daniele safety should she become HoH. Considering Amber has come in second in the last two competitions I guess anything could happen. Jameka tells her to be careful to make many any outlandish promises. A quick run up to the HoH room sets up the discussion between Amber and Daniele. Daniele immediately offers to exchange Amber’s safety this week for her own safety next week. Well that sounds like a nice, simple agreement that Amber should definitely accept. Oh but that’s right, this is Amber, so let’s see how she can over-complicate this situation. Amber agrees to those initial terms and then adds on the following: she won’t nominate Daniele any week she becomes HoH, she won’t back door Daniele, she’ll vote however Daniele wants her to vote including voting out Jameka (what a good, loyal friend!), and she’ll donate two of her kidneys to Daniele (don’t stop her, she’s on a roll). She needs a cheezburger, fries and a shake…and repeat. She looks like she could possibly be dealing with an eating disorder. She looks far too thin in that photo, and to think camera’s adds 10 lbs!

I think Jen has really dropped the ball by nominating Joe instead of Nick. If Nick were to be nominated along with Dick, I think Dick would be gone. Now with Joe as the alternative, I can’t see how Dick loses. Kail, Mike, Zach .. that’s 3 votes. Nick? Maybe, maybe not .. let’s assume no given his relationship with Daniele. Eric? My guess is that America will tell him to evict Joe. The others I can’t see going to evict Dick.
This has several repercussions. First, Jen and Kail are pretty much toast for it will be Kail against the world for HOH. If Mike or Zach were to win the HOH next week it would be an ideal time to break up the Mrs. Robinson alliance. Jen is a sitting duck of course with an almost 100% chance of being on the block next week. But more importantly, it isolates Jen and Kail to the extent that they really have no place to hide.
The other important point to make if this scenerio takes place is that it will be almost impossible to get Dick out of the house for a long time to come. If Jessica, janeka and Amber are all falling in line with Dick (apparently they are on the live feeds at least) then I can’t see how any of these girls will have the courage to consider Dick for eviction if they are to win HOH at some point. Dick’s intimidation will be seen as working with Jen and Kail the only people in the house willing to stand up to him.
All idle speculation of course but I’m having a hard time seeing any positive scenerio for Jen and Kail at this point all based on Jen’s choice of Joe to replace Daniele on the block.

You make a great point, SC. I think it really demonstrates how Jen is playing the game emotionally rather than strategically.
Had Nick gone up I don’t know of a single person that would have voted him out. Instead Jen went failed to focus her power of HoH and went for the “either/or” option where she’d be satisfied with either leaving.
She’s not a very smart player and I don’t expect her to last much longer as she really made some enemies this week.
That would be great to see Dick align with Jameka, Jessica, and Amber. If he can get Amber that’d give him Dustin as well. Next week the evictee will require 5 votes, and if none of those are HoH or nominated they’ll have the power to decide who leaves.
