Last week we got our first look at Harrison Ford on the set with the short video released by Spielberg and gang. This week there’s more news of Indiana Jones out in Hawaii where they’re doing location shooting. Turns out that Harrison Ford has been doing a lot of his own stunts according to The Honolulu Advertiser:
Executive producer Kathleen Kennedy said yesterday the 65-year-old Ford still handles his own leaps and falls during filming. “He’s doing them, he just has a few more ice packs and a few more massages,” she said.
That guy is crazy! He’s 65 years old and he doesn’t seem to know it. Maybe it’s all the beautiful scenery that’s got his mind muddled. Thankfully we’ll get to see lots of Hawaii too as the executives say that roughly 20% of the movie will be shot out there on the islands. The setting won’t be Hawaii though. Instead the filming is taking place there in lieu of a South American rainforest. Apparently it isn’t too easy to find thick forest regions anymore. Either that or it’s just a nice way of them saying they’d pick Hawaii over South America any day.

I’m amazed he’s still doing stunts. I also read that he is wearing the same Indiana Jones pants he wore 18 years ago.
Thanks for the link.
