Spoiler Free Zone ahead: We may know what’s going on with the live feeds, but for now we’ll keep this from ruining any broadcast surprises.
Tonight there were three major events which took place in the Big Brother house. The first was the fallout in the Mrs. Robinson Alliance after Thursday night’s eviction, the second had to do with was Daniele and Nick’s relationship and last but not least was Dick’s nominations. Lets take them one at a time.
Mrs. Robinson’s Failing Alliance:
Kail was obviously distraught that her boys all voted for Joe and left her swinging in the breeze as the only house guest to vote for Dick. Mike cast his vote for Joe, because he knew that Dick was staying so voting for Dick was just to give him cover. When Kail confronted Mike about his vote he didn’t have a lot to say. She was bitter that Mike didn’t at least tell her and I don’t blame her. His excuse: I thought she knew how everyone in the house was voting. When Kail outright asked Mike, “Is there an alliance?” He replied, “I have no idea.” This put the nail in the coffin for Kail for the alliance. She was obviously disappointed. Zach said that he felt the alliance of four was going down and it was probably done.
Nick, Dick, and Daniele
Daniele was starting to feel a little wigged out by Nick’s attention. For someone he’s only known for three weeks, is a bit over the top. With Joe gone I think Nick wins the mantle of the most psycho guy in the house. Frankly, he and Jen might just make a good couple. Daniele was concerned because being trapped in the house and spending all this time with Nick, she is starting to develop some feelings for him as well even though she has a boyfriend at home and has only known Nick for 3 weeks. Daniele actually turned to Dick for comfort and advice. I thought he gave her some good advice which was what seems real in the house may not be real once BB is over and that she should do what was right for her. This little heart to heart between Daniele and Dick put Nick on Dick’s S-List.
Dick’s Nominations:
Jen and Kail are both worried that Dick would put them up for obvious reasons. Mike thinks he could go up because he is in Kail’s alliance. The Mrs. Robinson Alliance was high on Dick’s hit list. Dick said no one feels comfortable with Zach. Kail went to DIck and laid it all out there about the Mrs. Robinson Alliance and how they turned on her. She may just have saved herself. Dick had been set on his nominations of Kail and Jen but now he is considering Zach and Mike as well. Dick pulled Zach into the HoH room to find out what was going on. This is when Zach determined that Kail had outed the alliance. Dick accused him of trying to get him out and then jumping ship when he realized he didn’t have the votes. Nick’s turn was next. Aside from the fact that Nick is messing with his daughter’s life and that he can’t trust Nick, he feels Nick is a liability for both him and Daniele. Nick tried to be all I have feelings for your daughter, I would never hurt her, etc. Dick didn’t buy any of it. Nick did not get the message that he should leave Daniele’s feelings alone.
I thought it was smart that Dick decided not to sleep in the HoH room. Instead he decided he was going to sleep downstairs with Jen and the MRs. Robinson alliance so that they would not have a chance to be alone together. I liked this move. Dick is fun to watch, I’m glad he didn’t go home.
To save time I will skip the drama surrounding Eric and Jen wrestling (she won after giving him a shot to the privates), Jameka and Dick having a few words about starving children in Africa, and Nick’s top five male celebrities he would sleep with (he couldn’t understand why Dick and Zach razzed him about this!).
Food Competition:
Tonight’s food competition was InPastaBowl! After several of the house guest spent the last two weeks on slop including Jameka who was having az hard time with it, the producers cut the house guests some slack. No one will be on slop this week. The house guests as a team had to win themselves food for the week. Each pair of house guests had to slide into a bowl of pasta filled with meatballs with the names of food on them. If the pair matched a pair of meatballs they won that food for the house for the next week. The house guests managed to win themselves a pretty nice collection of food including: a bbq grill, bananas, lobster tail, chicken, hamburgers, beer, and cereal and milk.
America’s Player:
Eric’s assignment tonight was to get the house guest America selected to be nominated by Dick. Eric said that if America selected Kail or Jen he was going to laugh. No surprise America selected Jen. Eric thought this would be the easiest week yet. Eric pushed on Dick who was considering putting Kail up against on of her alliance. Really though Eric didn’t have to push that hard. For Tuesday night, Eric becomes a secret vandal. America has to decide whose personal property he should target.
Nominations:
After the whole show, Dick ended up nominating Jen and Kail. The same people he was set on before the show started. These nominations were no surprise, I predicted them in the preview this morning. Dick did vow that he would do everything he could to see Kail leave. The nomination didn’t affect Jen at all. It was like she just didn’t want to believe it so she ignored it. She’s really good at living in her own little world.
