
If the final episode of The Sopranos left you in a downer like most of its audience then you might be interested in the bread crumbs David Chase is tossing out. While attending the Television Critics Association award event on Saturday Chase made these comments regarding the show’s abrupt ending, according to the Orlando Sentinel:
“It is possible and very likely to be sitting in a restaurant in New Jersey, and everything just stops,” Chase said Saturday night.
Earlier in the evening, Chase was more flip. “Here’s another clue for you all: The Walrus was Paulie,” he joked.
I’ve gotta say that I’m a little surprised Chase isn’t more worried about “getting whacked” over the way he chose to end the show. But I guess when you’re calling the shots you get to end it whenever you…
