Big Brother 8

Wow, Jen was right when she said she wasn’t concerned about being nominated this week as its the replacement nominee that keeps getting evicted. Here we go again for the fourth week in a row. Jen saved herself with the PoV and Daniele named Eric as her replacement. This was just the way Daniele and Dick wanted to see it play out as they’ve been gunning for Eric since the moment Nick left the house (no thanks to their votes either, mind you). But now that they’ve got Eric right where they want him it’s time to inspect whether or not they can pull off the final act.

There will only be seven votes this week, which means no matter what Daniele won’t get to vote in a tie-breaker, so forget Daniele as she’s now a lame HoH (technically speaking of course). Although Daniele can’t vote her right hand man, daddy dearest Dick still can and will vote against Eric. That is unless someone else causes some emotional uproar in the most stable 40+ house guest of the season. I don’t expect that though, so let’s drop Dick’s vote on into the “evict Eric” column. Six to go. Speaking of six-six-six let’s see what Jen will do this week. Hell has frozen over and Dick has “forgiven” Jen to form a new alliance of sorts. Jen put this in perspective by saying she didn’t agree to anything, Dick just promised to stop being such a, um, Dick to Jen. So considering this new alignment I’ll put up another tick mark against Eric.

Eric Jessica BB8

Five votes to go so let’s do an easy one: Jessica. While Dick and Daniele have forgotten that Jessica and Eric are close, I haven’t. Though confused by D&D’s slick tongues this perky cheerleader is sticking by her man and will be voting to keep Eric. Plus, Jessica hates Kail, so she says. That makes it 2-1 against Eric. Balancing it out at 4 votes to go is Dustin. Heck, let’s do the obvious joint-hip thing and make it Dustin and Amber. D&A don’t trust Dick anymore than they can keep Amber from crying for 5 minutes. This pair of guy-loving houseguests will be voting to keep Eric. Now we’re looking at 3-2 in favor of Eric.

Zach Bunny BB8

Just two votes to go with Zach and Jameka remaining in the wings. First up there is Zach as I’m a little surprised with the direction he’s heading in now. Zach, desperate to be part of anything with anyone again has promised his vote to Dick and Daniele. Poor guy, he just wants to be loved like the little BB bunny that he is. That puts things Even-Steven with 3-3 votes for Eric this week. Just one more person to bring the see-saw tipping and that person is Jameka. This school counselor from Maryland is no big fan of Dick’s game play and attitude. More than that though is her interest in sticking to Amber and Dustin which means this final vote is going to fall against Kail and into Eric’s court. A house vote of 4-3 can save Eric this week and this is exactly how I see the dice falling.

Why would everyone turn on Eric. They are reading to much into the banner, and they should not listen to Daniele and Dick. Is Amber and Dustin just playing them or are they really going to evict Eric. I do not want to see him go. Amber and Dustin, along with Dick are the big liars and need to go.

    Want to see Eric stay.

Amber seems to be straying more from the idea of saving Eric than Dustin, but I can’t tell how long that will stick. I’d really be surprised to see Dustin start siding with Dick at this point, but the way everyone just falls in line once they see their vote wouldn’t help may happen again.

I certainly hope Eric stays, but it’s so tough to predict right now.

I don’t think Eric is staying, from what I am reading and I don’t know how up to date your feeds are. It sounds like Eric is leaving this week. I think he would of done better if he wasn’t America’s Player. That’s BB for ya!

  4. Sheila

Yeah, I think Eric was put in a tough position a few times to follow through with America’s choices.

    I hope he stays.

  5. Matt

I agree he’d have likely played a lot better without the burden of following our vote commands.

Thursday night is still a lonnnggg way away in Big Brother time and a lot can happen between now and then.
