If you’ve seen Wes Anderson’s previous movies (Rushmore, Bottle Rocket, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) then you’re no doubt interested in seeing his latest movie, The Darjeeling Limited. Anderson reunites with his usual stars, Wilson and Schwartzman, while adding a new member, Brody. If you’re not familiar with Wes Anderson then I’ll warn you, his films are unusual and focus much more on character development rather than exciting story lines. My wife can’t sit through his movies, but I’m always willing to sit down and enjoy his consistent deliveries. I’m looking forward to this one.

I checked out the IMDB entry for the Darjeeling Limited. At the bottom of the page, they had a list of “If you liked this then you’ll love these:” recommendations. First on the list? Leather and Iron, “John Telliman, a rich lawyer who rides bikes on the weekends, falls into some trouble with a gang of outlaw bikers and gets a case in his possession that will only bring him misery.” I’m wondering what fuzzy logic connected these two films?
Oh, and tell your wife she has no taste. Zippy.

Sounds just like the original plot of Rushmore. I think Anderson made the wise choice to change it.
Oh she’ll no doubt endure this one once it gets released on DVD.

there is a short film that is a prologue of this movie that stars Jason Shwartzman and Natalie Portman in which Natalie showed her butt. it is entitled Hotel Chevalier. click on my username to find out what im talking about
