While it turned out to be a close call to an eternity in cable-only syndication for the original Law & Order there never seemed to be any doubt surrounding Law & Order SVU. L&O SVU will be returning to NBC in fall 2007 as part of its line-up along with the original flavor. Law & Order Criminal Intent wasn’t so lucky as it’s heading to the USA Network instead of sticking around. SVU returns September 25th with its season premiere definitely looking a little creepy with Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon. Too bad they probably won’t find a way to work in Mr. Big as a little crossover magic there for old time’s sake.
