I’m a big fan of the Heroes TV show, so I was excited when I got this email about a new Heroes game you can play online to synch up with the upcoming release of Heroes Season 1 on DVD (and HD-DVD!).

I wanted to invite you and your readers to participate in the Heroes Challenge, a trivia game that just went live on HeroesTheDVD.com, the official Web site for the Heroes Season 1 DVD. It tests players on their Heroes knowledge, and allows them to access bits of the special features content from the DVD early if they complete the challenges. The first two challenges are up now, and there?’ll be more added on August 16 and on the release date, August 28.

You can get started playing the game now online as you count down the hours until the DVD’s release. Oh why can’t I have Hiro’s powers?!

It kills me to share this extra tidbit, but there’s also a giveaway to win a Heroes prize package including an autographed copy of DVD set, a limited edition Heroes t-shirt, and a Heroes Hiro wristwatch.
