The road to Indiana Jones 4 (take a look at the first video clips from the set) continues with the secretive release of more details on the movie’s title. I had been hearing for some time now the speculated title would be: Indiana Jones and the City of Gods, so this latest tidbit didn’t throw me too much. An insider sent “/Film” a list of movie titles submitted to the Motion Pictures Association of America as a Title Registration Report. It seems that movie studios submit a list of potential titles and existing conflicting/overlapping titles for comparison. So either in an attempt to cover their bases with back up idea or to throw off folks like me trying to speculate on the final product Lucasfilm filed for six different Indiana Jones 4 movie titles. These potential movie titles include:

• Indiana Jones and the City of Gods
• Indiana Jones and the Destroyer of Worlds
• Indiana Jones and the Fourth Corner of the Earth
• Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
• Indiana Jones and the Lost City of Gold
• Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Covenant

The third and fourth title sound kinda silly and the last one is too close to Lost Ark for me. I’d still have to go with the commonly accepted rumor of “City of Gods” being the choice pick here.
