Bruce Lee

Get ready for another remake of a movie that doesn’t really need a remake (The Invasion). This time it will be Bruce Lee’s 1973 classic “Enter The Dragon“. Kurt Sutter, producer of “The Shield”, will write and direct this martial arts remake set to be titled, “Awaken the Dragon”. Warner Bros. released a statement through their publicist:

The movie will tell the story of an FBI agent who investigates a Shaolin monk and underground kung fu fight clubs.

That runs pretty close to the original story which posed Lee as a martial arts fighter who agrees to investigate a rogue leader operating a possible drug and slavery ring. This sounds like you could still be a little more creative and make your own storyline instead of standing on Bruce Lee’s shoulders to make a movie. Before I write this one off I’d like to hear who is brave enough to try and fill Lee’s shoes as that won’t be easy.
