For weeks on end now I’ve had this recurring dream where Amber is evicted from the house and it’s finally our turn to cry with tears of joy. Last week I thought we really had that one in the bag but then Daniele went and sprung her little backdoor trap on Jen. Don’t ask Amber what that means though, she’s already admitted to being in the dark on that one. While we’re on the topic of what Amber doesn’t understand I think we won’t have to worry about her getting upset while we ridicule her either (that’s another Amber-Stumper word). Matter of fact, I think we could probably keep our conversation on a fifth-grade level and not worry about her chiming in. If Big Brother 8 was Friends, then Amber would be Joey just without all the funny lines but instead you could swap that out for racist commentary. Now this is when I look back and think maybe it’s time to take it easy on Amber, but heck this may be my last week to blast away, so onward we go.

As Walt pointed out earlier Amber and Zach are in the hot seat this week with only a PoV in the way of our Thursday night evictions. Zach has already demonstrated his complete inability to compete successfully at anything while Amber is actually starting to turn her game up. Great idea to save all that for Week 8 when you’re in serious danger. So if Amber or Jameka can pull out a win tonight then I’ll admit defeat and prep myself for another week of puffy, red eye Diary Room sessions. Otherwise I think we’re done with this girl. The other house guests recognize that out of this week’s two options Amber is definitely the stronger fighter and I believe the voting will follow likewise. This is a smart decision as far as honoring the 4 person alliance (Jessica, Eric, Dick, and Daniele) and considering the numbers it is a decision that the other two voters will be powerless against.

The house without Amber shouldn’t be too much different for anyone other than Jameka. Amber and Jameka have really teamed up since Dustin’s departure and it has worked out as well as it could for these two. They weren’t really able to help each other out anymore than just being a sounding board for game talk and emotional support. I imagine that goes a long way in the house though as I’d definitely go crazy nuts after this long. Speaking of Amber and Jameka’s partnership, I wonder how Jameka would take the news that Amber already sold that friendship for a chance at safety. While it’s really a game of grasping at straws in the hope of saving your own butt it sucks that Amber would turn on her so quickly with so little return. Now that could have just been game talk and she didn’t really mean it, but I doubt it. Lucky for Jameka I don’t think she’ll have to worry about Amber’s possible treachery much longer.

So is anyone out there going to be sorry to see Amber leave? Clearly Amber did enough right in this game to make it to the half way point, but these past few weeks America seems to be voting against her with the America’s Player choices. Sounds like I haven’t been alone in my opinions.
