HoH Competition
In case you didn’t catch our coverage of the rest of the HoH competition, I’ll give you a quick summary of it to start. Dick, Daniele, Zach and Eric were doing there best to run up and down the slippery track trying to fill their containers with tea using little itty-bitty tiny teacups. Dick and Zach were leading almost the entire competition. When Big Brother gave the house guests the chance to fill a smaller container to win a phone call from home, Eric took the opportunity and won the phone call since by that point in the competition he already had no chance to win. When the contestants were offered two larger cups to use all four of them took the cups even though that ensured the entire house 8 days (1 day/cup) of no hot water (Ugh, that sucks). As Dick and Zach’s tea level neared the top, Dick was trying really hard. Dick was worried about Zach winning, because he had called Zach out on his game play in Dick’s usual friendly (not) manner. So Dick was very afraid that Zach would put him up. But, despite Dick’s best efforts, Zach beat him and won HoH. This was Zach’s first win at anything all season.
Afterwards, Dick was correct in stating that Amber would have had no chance of winning. Eric described Zach’s winning as a nightmare. He was worried about Jessica but he ought to be worried for himself. I would not be surprised if Zach went for him as the actual target. Eric was upset because he had told Jessica that there was no way Zach could beat him, Dick, and Daniele at anything. Eric gave his call to Jessica, so she could talk to her little brother Dean who ust got back from Iraq.
Daniele had a long talk with Zach. They spent a lot of time talking strategy and about Dick. Daniele tried to made him think that she and her Dad were not really tight anymore in the game. Zach wants to trust her. He hasn’t really had any friends in this game and I’m sure its getting to him. So Daniele’s play for Zach’s friendship is a really smart move on her part. I’m not sure that Zach will ever be in a strong alliance with Dick though. Zach had the quote of the night, “Can you really trust a guy named Dick?”
America’s Player
Eric was dying to tell Jessica about being America’s Player. As his feelings for her develop he really wants to be honest with her. Even though he could not tell her about being America’s Player he did tell her that he was the one who cast the mystery votes earlier in the season and sprayed Jen’s clothes with mustard. Eric’s assignment for tonight was to get Jameka nominated. I really didn’t think this would be a tough on for Eric, but when he went to go talk with Zach, Zach didn’t seem very receptive to Eric’s arguments. Eric’s assignment for Tuesday night is to show the house guest America selects how annoying they are by mimicking them. This is kind of a stupid assignment in my opinion.
Nominations
Daniele and Dick’s plan for Zach was for him to nominate Jessica and Eric. If they get him to put both of them up then Dick and Daniele have to vote for one or the other and then it isn’t their fault is it? Its Zach’s fault. So they break up Eric and Jessica and walk away smelling like a rose. Daniele has been cultivating Zach’s friendship. She went to Zach and told him that if either Jessica or Eric don’t go home this week then Zach would end up going home next week. She said that they don’t like him and want you to go home next week. She added, ‘You have to believe me’ and ‘Don’t tell anyone that I told you’ several times without really giving Zach any hard evidence other than her word.
When it was time for the nomination ceremony, Zach nominated Jessica and Jameka. Jessica pretty much knew she was going up. She put Zach up, she has won HoH twice, and everyone likes her. She is really dangerous. Eric won his America’s Player assignment but I’m pretty sure Eric wasn’t too happy about it. Eric feels like its his fault that Jessica was nominated. He also thinks Jessica feels like it is his fault too. He is devastated. To be honest well, it is his fault so he should feel bad. I think that Zach is going to try to backdoor Eric in the end so that should help alleviate his guilt.
