Big Brother 8

I can’t believe that there are only two weeks left in Big Brother 8 while there are still six house guests left! With such a short time remaining BB is going to jam a lot of action into its final breaths, so let’s get everyone caught up and ready so no one misses a thing. First off the current players left are: Daniele, Dick, Eric, Jameka, Jessica, and Zach. Zach is the HoH for the first time while Eric and Jameka are the only players remaining who have not won HoH even once. Currently we have Jameka and Jessica on the block and come Thursday one of them could be going home (pending the PoV tonight, of course). Thursday night is going to be really crazy as its a double eviction night. This week’s HoH competition winner will immediately nominate two players and there will be only two votes immediately cast by the other remaining players for the second eviction. Following this rushed decision a new HoH will be crowned.

Back up a step though because there’s even more going on in between now and Thursday, much less the end of the season. If you haven’t gotten in on the live feeds yet then you’ve got a bonus situation now where you can watch the rest of the season for free. When you sign up for the video feeds you get a two week trial period which means if you start now you can cancel on the last day and not get charged a penny to watch the live feeds. So you might have missed out on lots of goodies all season, but now you can make up for it and enjoy the uncensored video for FREE. Now if that wasn’t enough here’s another bonus to that bonus. Wednesday night (9/5/07) on the live feeds Janelle (Season 6 & Season 7 All-Stars) will be hosting a live chat only for the live feeds subscribers. Ah hah, now you’re interested, eh?

So at this point it won’t be surprising to see alliances start to shift again as everyone is likely to get nervous. There are really only two alliances in the house: JEDD and DDZ (pronounced “duds”). Jessica and Eric really need to watch out for DDZ (Dick, Daniele, and Zach) as it’s very likely to be their downfall this week. Jessica was absolutely right to want to get rid of either Dick or Daniele last week while they had the chance. Now that they’re left together in the game they’re apt to march right into the finale.

Speaking of the finale, let’s look at the potential match ups. Of anyone in the house I would not want to be sitting next to Jessica. If the game ended today I think she could win the whole pie. Jameka is another well liked player, but she hasn’t won a single thing other than the time she got to hand out slop duty with Jessica way back when. I couldn’t vote for her as I don’t feel she has played a very strong game. Eric seems to be mildly accepted in the house and wouldn’t be too bad to go up against. The last three players: Dick, Daniele, and Zach would all be ideal to be sitting next to in the finale. Besides the Mrs. Robinson alliance no one would touch Zach with a ten foot pole until D&D decided they needed him this week. Dick doesn’t stand a chance of garnering the votes to stand on top. Guilty by association is Daniele who would likely suffer the same disdain as her father. It’s still difficult to be sure though as we have less than half of the potential jury decided so far. One more week and the sequester house line up should paint a clearer picture for us.

Just two more weeks to go! I’m ready to see who wins.
