Can you believe it?! We’re looking at our finale four of the eighth season of Big Brother. Fantastic. I’m still enjoying this show as much as ever and am really excited to see it all play out. So at this point we’ve seen Zach take over, again, as HoH and he’s nominated Dick and Daniele for eviction. I think that was definitely the right choice, though it probably wasn’t the easiest. Well heck, he had to nominated one of them, so why not just go for it all. With the most dangerous duo sitting side by side on the nomination couch neither one will be able to vote to save the other, unless they pull off the PoV. Obviously the remainder of this season could go in a lot of ways depending on the PoV and the subsequent eviction vote, so let’s take a look.
Case #1: Zach wins the PoV. Should Zach win the PoV I see zero reason for him to use it and put up Jameka. Zach has told Jameka he fully intends to take her to the final two given the chance, and I think he’s being sincere. So if Zach wins and holds the nominations the same then Jameka will have the one and only vote. In that case I think she’ll be smart and evict Daniele over Dick. Considering the final competitions involve an endurance and Daniele already won one of those versus ol’ black lung Dad this is a no brainer. This situation will lead to a final three of Zach, Jameka, and Dick.

Case #2: Jameka wins the PoV. Since Jameka is the only one not nominated this week there’s simply no way she’d use it if she won it. None at all. This way we’d get a repeat of Case #1 with the nominations remaining the same and Jameka, as the sole voter, sending Daniele off to the mysterious sequester home.
Case #3: Daniele wins the PoV. If Zach and Jameka can’t keep the top on this boiling pot and they let Daniele win the PoV then their plans should really fall apart. From here Daniele will definitely use the PoV and remove herself from the chopping block. That would force Zach to put Jameka up on the block against Dick. So if Daniele is the only voter it’s a no brainer that she’ll vote out Jameka. While it might be tempting to some to send Dick out of there it wouldn’t make any sense for Daniele to do that. She may still need his help down the road, plus she’s already admitted to Julie Chen that she’d love to be sitting next to her father in the final two.
Case #4: Dick wins the PoV. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Dick and Daniele sitting together on the eviction couch and we already know what happened when Dick won that PoV. Should Dick do it again this week then I fully expect him to save Daniele and take his chances against Jameka. At this point it wouldn’t really matter if he used it on himself or gave it to Daniele. Either way there’s just one vote and will be cast against Jameka.
The final four house guests clearly divide into pairs and this week will rely heavily on the success or failure of one said pairs. If Zach and Jameka secure the PoV then watch for Daniele to head out to the interview couch. Should Dick and Daniele pull off another coup then Jameka is done for. We’ll know soon enough as we wind down in the final days of Big Brother 8.
