Update: You can find our recap of tonight’s big episode along with live feed HoH endurance round updates.
Spoiler Free Zone ahead: We may know what’s going on with the live feeds, but for now we’ll keep this from ruining any broadcast surprises.
Following Sunday’s HoH and Nomination episode we witnessed a surprising shift in power as Zach started to take over for the Donatos as ruler of the house. Tonight we’ll see if Zach can hang on to that lead or if they’ll snatch it right back. Last we saw Zach was talking to Jameka and asking for her help to keep his Donato nominations the same with his intent to send Daniele to sequester. Jameka pointed out the obvious, she has no other choice but to try and keep the nominations the same by winning the PoV. This should definitely be another tense episode.
Whoever wins the PoV will be in complete control of deciding who will go home. There are several different scenarios, which I detailed out yesterday (Big Brother 8: Final Four - Potential PoV Scenarios & What-If’s). I also earlier noted that Zach did the right thing by nominating D&D, but looking back now I don’t think there was much point. All that did was piss them off and get them fired up to compete tonight. Instead he should have put up Dick and Jameka and fought for the PoV just the same. There wouldn’t be a bit of difference between that situation and what is going to happen now. The bonus here would be you’d have the Veto Queen (of the season, not Janelle) in a more relaxed state as she’d be confident Jameka was heading out. Now Zach is stuck in a living hell while Dick and Daniele make his life miserable. Daniele suggested to her dad to repeat the pots and pan plan from Dustin’s days to knock Zach off his game in the coming days. That’d be obnoxious, but smart.
Don’t forget that you can now watch the online, uncensored Big Brother 8 live feeds for the rest of the season completely free (14 day free trial).
So following tonight’s PoV competition we’ll get a live eviction where just one single vote will be cast. Geez, that’s getting pretty slim on your margins. As fun as it’d be to see one of the Donatos heading home I think we’re looking to say goodbye to Jameka tonight. She simply hasn’t been strong enough in the competitions which puts her at a distinct disadvantage, though I wouldn’t go as far as to call it “unfair” as Zach did on Sunday. However, should Jameka or Zach pull it off look for Daniele to be sent packing. That would be an easy choice considering the current jury’s dislike for Dick and Daniele’s sturdy endurance abilities.
Things won’t be slowing down any time soon either as I expect we’ll immediately roll into part 1 of the final HoH competitions. This should be an endurance competition for the first round tonight as we’ve seen in the past (shaking volcano, hold the key in your raft, etc.). The winner of that round will get a spot in the third round which will happen along with the second round on Thursday. All that excitement should leave us a little lacking on Sunday’s episode since by then it’ll just be the final two. Anyone else thinking we’re practically assured a Donato Finale? Not that they haven’t earned it this season, but geez, not the greatest people it seems as the season has worn on. Ah well, you don’t watch Springer or Big Brother for the classy people to parade around.
If tonight turns out to truly be an endurance round then we’ll miss the results on the broadcast show. That means we’ll have to watch it on the live feeds. Considering there are only 7 days left in the show and 14 days in the free trial
you might as well sign up, watch the endurance round along with the last few days, and then cancel next Wednesday at no cost to you. Either way we’ll keep the coverage going as late as possible (we’re on the East coast and I do have a job to get to on Wednesday, sorry). So check back in later for all the fun!
