With Zach’s eviction on Thursday night, only Dick and Daniele remain. So there aren’t a lot of fireworks left to watch tonight. The episode started out with highlights of Dick and Daniele’s relationship over the course of the season. All of the shouting, all of the tears, all of the jumping up and down because everyone else got kicked out of the house. All along it was really easy to think of Dick as the bad guy. But it wasn’t until CBS boiled down the footage that you really see just how immature Daniele is. Don’t get me wrong Dick is no saint, but there problems aren’t all his fault like I remember thinking at the beginning of the season. I’ll be interested to see how their relationship goes after they get out of the house. I think Dick’s heart is in the right place and for his sake, I hope Daniele isn’t just going to take the money and run.
The rest of the episode were the Donatos sharing fond memories (i.e., making fun of) the rest of the evicted house guests. For the most part this was less than exciting. They showed a lot of stuff I had completely forgotten about, like Joe, for example. I completely forgot about him he was a little nuts. I also forgot just how crazy Jen was. Nick was pretty crazy too. So was Amber and Jameka, and Dick, and Daniele. Now that you mention it, there was pretty much something wrong with just about everyone in the house this season. I tell you, I don’t miss listening to Amber cry every single episode.

I think the only segment I really found interesting was the on on Eric and Jessica’s relationship. I’m convinced that they really like each other but I’m not sure that they are going to make it once they get out of the sequester house. Eric is the goofy Jewish boy from the big seed while Jessica is the super hot Christian hayseed from Kansas. Not to mention the fact that she is really, really, high maintenance. The only good news is that Eric is pretty whipped so he may just end up being a good match for her if he can actually survive in Kansas. More likely if he actually moves out there, I predict, he’ll be back to the Big Apple in less than a year. Which is too bad I kind of like them together.
Tuesday night will of course be the big BB8 Season Finale. All of the juror members in the sequester house will have their chance to let Dick and Daniele have it before… well… I guess they let Dick and Daniele have it, meaning the $500,000 grand prize. Although there seems to be some disagreement in the Donato camp as to how the first and second place prize money will be split up after they get out of the house. I’m actually more interested to see how the house guests will react once Eric is revealed as America’s Player. It will be nice to see a little vindication for him. One way or another this was a season that will go down in Big Brother history.
