Stuart Townsend, best known for nothing other than some how landing Charlize Theron, told People magazine that he and Charlize consider themselves married, despite not actually being married:
“I’m married,” Townsend told PEOPLE this week. “I didn’t do a church wedding or anything, but we’re married. We’re husband and wife.”
“We love each other and we want to spend our lives together,” the 34-year-old actor said about his nearly seven-year relationship with Theron, 32, who he calls “the greatest woman I’ve ever met.”
“We didn’t have a ceremony,” he added. “I don’t need a certificate or the state or the church to say otherwise. So no there’s no big official story on a wedding, but we are married. … I consider her my wife and she considers me her husband.”
Listen up Townsend, one of these days Charlize is going to come across a copy of that crap Queen of the Damned, and once she does and realizes what a total hack you are you’ll wish that you had some sort of legal arrangement binding her to you. But I do like his way of thinking and I can play that game too. See, I’m the king of England. I don’t need some sort of certificate or recognition by the state, I’m simply the king of England. Geez, maybe I should have thought this out a little more. Being a king could be pretty hard work. Damn, I wish these imaginary arrangements weren’t so concrete.

To the ignorant and cynical, a signed legal document shouldn’t change the commitment you have to a person, it only turns it into a binding contract. People should be a little more open minded, because who are they to criticize someone elses love. A piece of paper doesn’t make a marriage. A contract of the heart is much more binding and powerful. I wish much happiness to Charlize and Stuart. I’m not informed as to wether they are currently together, but I hope that they are Happy, together or apart. Charlize is a strong woman, she will do what is right for herself. -Natasha
P.S. They look so good together. And they have been together for many years, it is not like they knew each other for a month and then started calling themselves husband and wife.

Well, my comment is actually an answer to Mr Matt with whom I have to disagree. First of all, have u seen ” queen of the damned”? It’s a GREAT movie, i think, not to mention that Townsend’s talented performence takes a big part of credict for that. ‘n besides, i think that Stuart ‘n Charlize make a great couple ‘n they seem SO in love too…why the horrid coments ‘n jealous retorc

Gotta say that “Queen of the Damned” was one of the biggest pieces of crap I’ve ever seen. Safe to say that bomb was the source of my complete and utter dissatisfaction with Townsend. He’s a joke.

Ok Stuart Townsend is so hot, and i just watched Queen of the Damned, which is why i am here. I thought he was so hot that i decided to google him. And oh yeah, that was pne of the best movies i have ever seen
