After a disappointing set of movies last weekend I’m looking for to The Kingdom coming out. The other wide releases, The Game Plan and Feast of Love, aren’t really interesting me, but family and romance films may be what you’re looking for. Then again a family comedy about a bastard child doesn’t strike me as the best idea for a kids movie. There are several more limited releases coming out (The Darjeeling Limited and Lust, Caution), but good luck finding those in your area. What are your movie plans for the weekend? Check these out and see what looks good to you.
Here are all your movie details & trailers for this weekend, September 28 - 30, 2007.
The Kingdom
Starring: Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, Jennifer Garner
Director: Peter Berg
Genre: Drama and Thriller
Rated: R for intense sequences of graphic brutal violence, and for language.
Duration: 1hr 50mins
Plot: An FBI agent (Foxx) and his team are dispatched to a formerly off-limits Middle Eastern kingdom to find those responsible for a bombing that claimed the lives of American workers in Riyadh.
My Take: With Michael Mann on the production team and a solid cast this one looks to be very good and a big box office winner. I definitely plan on seeing The Kingdom.

Turning to his hard-nosed agent (Sedgwick), the parentally challenged duo try to turn a serial bachelor into a responsible father.
