Geez, two weeks in a row now The Game Plan has taken the number one spot. I’m quite surprised Ben Stiller’s new comedy, The Heartbreak Kid, didn’t heartily win it all as it only earned $14 million. The other new releases came in much lower. The Seeker made only $3.7M, beating out the other new release, Feel the Noise, at $3.4M. It’s worth noting that Feel the Noise was in 1/3 of the theaters that The Seeker had (1K vs. 3K), so that’s not too bad at all when you break it down that way, though it’s ratio was still less than Heartbreak. So, how much longer before we start getting some good movies again?
