Tonight, Dancing With The Star’s host Samantha Harris returns from maternity leave. Drew Lachey did a great job in her absense but it will be nice to see Samantha back. Samantha isn’t the only celebrities who will need to make a comeback tonight. Mark & Kym have had two of the lowest judges scores for weeks. They will obviously be trying to step it up. It just a question of whether Mark can do it. They seem to have enough of a fan following that even a mid-range score from the judges should be enough to keep them safe again. The couple who really needs to make a comeback tonight is Floyd & Karina. They had a pretty low score last week, and ended up in the bottom two. If they don’t come up big tonight they could be the couple going home tomorrow night. The other couple who I expect to have put in a lot of extra practice over the past week is Helio & Julianne. Their score last week wasn’t bad but, they want to be back in the top two again. Until last week Helio & Julianne were looking like serious contenders for the Season 5 Crown. Julianne won last year and she wants to do it back to back really bad.

There were three couples last week who were tied for first with 27/30 from the judges, Sabrina & Mark, Mel & Maksim, and Jane & Tony. These three couples face the same danger that Helio & Julianne did. They have demonstrated to the judges and the fans what they are capable of. The judges and fans are not going to be comparing them to the other couples as much as they are to their previous performances. If these couples do not maintain the high standards that they have set for themselves they may find themselves back in the middle of the pack like Helio & Julianne did.
